Hatice Muratova lives with her mother in an abandoned village in the steep mountains of the Balkans. She makes her living with wild beekeeping, but she also cares about the bees’ share, even talks to the bees and sings to them. She has to wage a great struggle against the urban monster called the market, the family who suddenly move to their village and set their eyes on bees to earn money, and nature. This film, which was shot for three years, opens a new horizon for us to reflect on the relationship between human and nature.
