Meeting Jim is about the life of 83-year-old Jim Haynes in Paris, London and Edinburgh, who left his mark on the artistic and cultural world of the 1960s. Jim Haynes made history by establishing the first avant-garde theater of the period – The Traverse – in England. The newspaper he published in London, named Arts Lab and I.T, left its mark on the libertarian world of 60 generations. Inspired by Gary Davis and the countless World Passports they printed with him, many people traveled. Haynes continues to offer his Sunday meals, which he has organized every week for 40 years and hosted approximately 130,000 people, at his home in Paris.
