Eşref Yıldırım – Dissolution Performance will meet the audience at Armonia Bodrum Houses Chapel on September 5th.
Eşref Yıldırım focuses on themes of media representation, power dynamics, and social taboos. His works explore the lives of individuals shaped by the pressures of social hierarchies, gender roles, and racial prejudice. Using recycled materials and maintaining a strong connection with painting, he reflects on these structures in a way that feels personal yet universal. Narrative plays an important role in Yıldırım’s work. Each piece carries traces of shared and individual histories, often shaped by the context and space in which they are presented.
