Ruda Krua is a genre-defying band formed in Rotterdam (Netherlands) at the end of 2023. With an unconventional lineup featuring bass clarinet, drums, and saxophone, the group pushes the boundaries of their instruments, experimenting with a wide array of sounds and textures, enhanced by the use of effect pedals.
Drawing influences from afrobeat, jazz, ambient, electronic, punk and elements of Bulgarian and Valencian traditional music, Ruda Krua creates a dynamic and eclectic sonic experience. Their live shows are a unique fusion of original compositions and free improvisation, offering audiences something different with each performance.
Throughout 2024, Ruda Krua has been showcasing their music around the Netherlands, introducing their distinctive sound and steadily building a fanbase. In October 2024, they released their first EP on cassette, a live recording of their very first performance at the renowned venue Grounds (Rotterdam). This release marks an exciting milestone in their journey, encapsulating the raw energy and spontaneity of their unique sound. Since then, they have done various concerts troughout the Netherlands and Spain.
The group will embark on their second international tour in 2025, starting with the iconic MOMO festival Rotterdam, after which going to Turkey and the balkans starting with International Gümüşlük Music Festival, Turkey.
